Individual adults can join Geekdom and use it as their workspace and community hub. Potential members can include entrepreneurs, developers, creative makers, hardware/software designers, visual and code, and everything in between.

Requirements

  • Complete application
  • Volunteering at Geekdom to help other members: 1 hour a week or 1 workshop or class given in your expertise once a month.

As an individual professional, you'll want to choose whether to use a hot desk or have dedicated office space:

Students

Both high school and college students are offered a reduced rate for participation and a opportunity to be mentored by the best in Tech and Business.

Requirements

  • Meet review board for membership acceptance
  • Show and tell to community once per quarter of a project
  • Volunteering at Geekdom to help community or others: 1 hour a week
  • Must be 18 years or older

(Scholarships are available for free 1 year memberships based on need and increased grade point average.)

Local Businesses

Local businesses which are established and operating can co-locate at Geekdom. Startups & established businesses help anchor the space and provide a mentoring resource for individuals and other businesses.

  • Must have LLC., Inc., etc. w/ bank account
  • Must have 2 or more people
  • Volunteering at Geekdom to help other members: 1 hour a week or 1 workshop or class given once a month per member in their expertise.

Community Groups

Community Groups

Community groups such as (computer clubs, organizations, art, science, etc..) can use Geekdom as their home base, scheduling regular meetups and events, classes and programming of their own within Geekdom.

Requirements

  • Group must have regular meetings 1x or more a month
  • Group must have more than 10 members
