Geekdom is built on five immutable principles that have never been available in one place before.
The Power of Open
We admit undergrad students, startups, corporate fugitives, basement inventors, young entrepreneurs, established small businesses, etc—All on their merit, their ideas, and their passion for entrepreneurship and technology.
The Power of Mentors
Teaching, training and workshops are a deep part of the daily fabric. Part of our membership is paying with your ‘time’. We ask our members to give back 1 hour of time per month to ensure collaboration and help guide other members to success.
The Power of Community
The power of Community. Geekdom is very low-cost to admitted members. Geekdom is about building technologists and entrepreneurs with the power of collaboration. Geekdom is not just about renting desks. This is our difference.
The Power of Mission
The power of Mission. Geekdom is mission based, like any great enterprise. You belong at Geekdom if you share our belief that entrepreneurship is a vehicle of community progress and human progress, not just financial progress. We are a force for good.
The Power of Heart-Set
Geekdom promotes the entrepreneurial heart-set as much as the mind-set: permission to fail and the role of risk as an opportunity. It has to happen in practice. Entrepreneurs must work through what doesn’t work short term to be successful long term.
