Chelsey’s group workshops begin with a 30 minute presentation on key communication concepts providing a solid foundation. Chelsey then coaches volunteers right in front of the group. An incredible aspect of these workshops is the real-time transformation that unfolds. As volunteers receive guidance and make progress, they not only benefit individually but also garner affirmation and insights from their peers, fostering a powerful collective learning environment. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Reframe communication and self-confidence as skill sets to be mastered.
Identify and analyze personal default behaviors and patterns that are holding them back.
Use at least one coping strategy to reduce performance anxiety and regulate stress responses.
To prepare, volunteers will need a short (30-60 second) “speech”. The material does not need to be memorized and the content can be anything, really; an introduction, or what you like to eat for breakfast, for example.
