Description:
In this workshop, we’ll dive into the importance of and best practices for conducting customer discovery interviews during the beginning stages of your startup. Using materials based on the book written by Giff Constable, “Talking to Humans,” we’ll work together to identify your problem, critical assumptions, target market, and go over how to gather the data you need to make your startup successful.
The workshop will be facilitated by star Geekdom Employees, Aubrey Doerr and Cristy Lime! They will guide you through proven curriculum and constructive activities with the fellow founders in attendance. Whether you have an idea, a product, or a full-fledged business, you’ll learn how to make the best decisions for you and your company!
Speaker Bios:
Aubrey Doerr:
Aubrey has diverse experience in entertainment and finance, and is currently the Program Coordinator at Geekdom. She graduated from Chapman University with a degree in entrepreneurship, did several years as an accountant in the entertainment industry, and is also a 2023 Venture for America fellow. As per usual, Aubrey is bursting with excitement to share her knowledge with the Geekdom community, and can’t wait to see everyone there!
Cristy Lime:
Cristy Lime has a diverse professional background and expertise in operational strategies, event planning, and client experience optimization. She is dedicated to fostering an environment where entrepreneurs can thrive, by being more effective and efficient with their time, allowing them to work on their business instead of in their business. She is currently Geekdom’s Program Manager and the head of the Mentorship Program.
