You’ll learn about valuation, the types of funding that are available, and how different funding types interact in the “capital stack.”
We’ll consider real-world financing case studies, including Meta, Moderna, and Glowforge. In addition to the most common funding sources, we’ll look at recent alternatives such as crowdfunding and initial coin offerings (ICOs).
You’ll also learn the role of a term sheet in financing, and we’ll walk through an example of one, clause by clause – translating the legal-ese of these often complex documents into plain English.
